If CADC is lit up, press MASTER RESET again (step 19). Make sure there are no warning lights lite on the Pilots Caution Advisory Panel. Then we can alight the nose indicator with the 0 zero line on the pitch ladder.Ģ7. Once complete the pitch ladder will appear on the HUD.Ģ6. At this point we need to wait for the RIO to finish their set up. Turn on the VDI, HUD, HSD/ECM - this turns on the Heads Up Display and the two monitors underneath the HUD.Ģ4. Turn the the knob on the SAI, to makme the OFF flag disappear and ensure the lines are leveled with the horizon.Ģ3. Rotate the knob on the Radar Altimeter to turn it on and to set the low altitude warning alarm(little white triangle).Ģ2. If the wings are not moving, ensure you are in AUTO mode and try pressing MASTER RESET again.Ģ1. There is also a small ruler/scale/indicator on just below the HUD (bottom right corner) that shows what angle the wings are currently at. (Set this up in options under the Throttle Section) Take a look outside and make sure the wings are moving. Push the Wing Sweep HAT switch on the throttle into the AUTO position. Push the Emergency Wing Sweep Handle into the full forward position, and then click it to lower it into place, and close the cover.Ģ0. Without Flight Control System, modern planes are nearly impossible to fly, so make sure to turn it on!ġ8. Ask the ground crew to disconnect the air supply and external power.ġ7. Now close the cover on the Hydraulic Transfer Pump, it will automatically set it back to normalġ4. Watch the RPM gauge and make sure the engine settles at 70%ġ3. Click on the body of the left throttle, to get it out of the cut off position, and if necsesssary push it down to idle.ġ1. Once the right engine has finished spooling, do the same for the left. You should be able to hear the engine spool up, but also keep an eye on the RPM gauge, and make sure the engine settles around 70% RPMĩ. Right click to move the switch to the right.ħ.Click on the body of the right throttle and it will move from the cut-off position to idle.Ĩ. The Engine Crank is not labelled, but it's to the left of the throttle, it has just an L and R either side of it. (if the cover is closed, then the switch is set to normal, so make sure the cover is open, and then also click the switch).Ħ. This switch is a little trick to see, it's hidden behind the seat belt buckle on the right side of your seat, flip the cover open and then adjust the mouse so that you get a green cursor indicating that you are able to click on the switch.
